    Year 1: 2025

Right now the cohort is undertaking their Certificate in Indigenous Language Revitalization, and they are only one course in, so people who are interested in joining in year 1 for the summer or Fall 2025 term can connect with Janna Wilson CILR@uvic.ca to see about registration.

Year 2: will start Fall 2026

Those folks who are interested can connect with my colleague Colleen Juricic iedlpa@uvic.ca , and get on our interest list, and then we will send out information about when to apply and register for Year 2 (the application deadline will be end of January 2026)

If coming in in year 2, they will need one year (10 courses) of language or language revitalization course work and they will have to write a short note of intent, identifying their Nation, etc, and if they are hoping to join remotely or in person. So, of course that will also need to include official transcripts.

Year 3: will start Fall 2027

This is the laddered step into the five-year BEDILR. So, that will require 30 units of transfer credit and two approved English courses with a GPA over 3. Again, if folk are interested in this, please ask them to connect with my colleague Colleen Juricic iedlpa@uvic.ca and she will put them on an interest list so we can communicate with them closer to the time about what they will need for application (which will be January 2027 deadline )
