BAYMONT INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM

As the Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham (Hotel), we proudly announce that our property will undergo renovations and upgrades to elevate our current 2-star status to a 3-star hotel under the prestigious Wyndham Baymont brand banner, transitioning from the previous Gold River Chalet banner. The proposed upgraded 44-room hotel model has been designed to meet the standards of a renowned brand like Wyndham Hotels.

Located within the territorial lands and waters of the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation, our hotel is surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty that offers an extraordinary range of potential tourism experiences. Whether it's fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, or water sports, our area has global appeal to anyone seeking to enjoy and experience the outdoors. The addition of our hotel will fill a much-awaited gap in hospitality for visitors, attracting more tourists and longer stays year-round.

We are excited to provide comfortable and upgraded accommodations for our guests, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our beautiful territory. Experience the unparalleled beauty of MMFN's lands and waters, and let us be your home away from home at Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham!

Welcome to the MMFN Economic Development Department

At MMFN, we are committed to implementing a strategic plan that enables our community to prosper and govern our traditional territories.

The MMFN Economic Development department outlines how we can achieve economic well-being through structured activities, restitution for colonial wrongs, and forward management of our environment. We believe establishing economic development ventures focused on fishing, forestry, tourism, retail, and other complementary initiatives will be key to re-establishing our self-sufficiency and prosperity.

We aim to generate revenue and develop profitable business assets across our traditional territory. By taking a hands-on approach to manage our environment, we can return to the historical ways of managing our traditional territory, habitats, and waterways.
