WATER TAXI BOOKING
The Mowachaht Muchalaht First Nation provides vessel transportation to support safe, respectful,
and coordinated travel within our territory. This service supports community members,
families, and visitors who rely on the vessel to reach different areas of the territory.
Trips are shared, and each departure may include several travellers.
The vessel can carry up to 10 passengers along with two crew members, so trips are
planned in advance to support safety, coordination, and the well-being of everyone on board.
Advance booking is required, and the service is not an on-demand water taxi.
How Booking Works:
- Select an available departure time and travel zone, then enter the requested drop-off location
- The vessel has 10 passenger seats and two crew seats, so trips are shared, and seating is limited
- Approved bookings will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete payment.
Departure Location:
All trips depart from the West Coast Marine Terminal on Highway 28 in Gold River.
Please Note:
- Advance booking is required
- Trips may change or be cancelled due to weather or operational needs
- If a trip does not receive enough bookings to operate, travellers will be contacted
